She’s beautiful, but maybe she doesn’t know it yet.
She wore a pair of red velvet doll shoes with her school uniform. Her socks looked like they had been soaked in flood water, mud-colored watermarks traced the inside of her shoes, peeking in crests and throughs. The edge of her plad and plaited skirt had a rip on it. The tear showed a little bit of her dark-colored knees. She wore her Physical Education t-shirt tucked in that skirt. Her school logo was barely noticeable as her long hair fell in dry and frizzy clumps up to her chest. Her black hair framed her oval face, highlighting her open almond eyes.
