Day 13

Some pieces of sliced meat, pink and sporadically charred, blanket some asparagus sticks. They were laid on a bed of white rice. Each ham-wrapped asparagus held together by a pointy toothpick, which in turn was tucked in between the meat and grain of the packed lunch. It was a sign of a mother’s love.
